When I first started considering a Portfolio Executive workstyle, the idea of being able to provide high quality advice and services at levels affordable to the business size and activity really appealed. To do this meant my time needed to be flexible and split across multiple organisations. With my strength in business partner, my track record on leading change and delivering high performance results, the portfolio executive approach felt ideal for me and is now benefiting my clients.
Initially, an opportunity arose from an international business as a part time CFO, heading up the group finances. The relationship I built with the CEO and board in just a few days a month was fantastically rewarding for me and the business.
Success for me is being considered a valued member of the leadership team, supporting with the strategic decision making and being approached to provide advice and assistance as and when required.
