At the core of my decision, I chose the fractional path to be more flexible. I enjoy auditing and streamlining teams, MarTech, measurements, processes, ways of working, and even culture for international growth. I wanted to do this more flexibly across industries and clients, especially as I may relocate to Italy in the long term.
In practice, I can help install a Global Growth Operating System. I ensure that the strategy agreed by the board is executed by the team on the ground. I start with a growth audit to assess and map the path, then execute, staying with clients for as long as they need.
In terms of how I got started, since 2016 I have taken on various regional and global roles in large organizations. I now want to continue doing this for medium-sized companies, which still need this capability, but not necessarily on a full-time basis.
Early on, my first success was simply making clients achieve their targets.
Along the way, I’ve learned that an audit is the best way to start an engagement.
At this stage, working more flexibly gives me the space to accommodate clients’ needs, while also having time for my family and to keep studying.
Looking ahead, what I hope for is a steady, organic client pipeline.
