I enjoy tackling business problems and creating strategic solutions that drive growth.

My journey began after working in the sports betting sector for 10 years. In 2015, I launched my first software product specialist business. I ran this company as a product specialist company and bespoke software house until 2017, when I launched a peer-to-peer social betting platform.

I later raised £3.5M investment to take this product to market. We launched and quickly realised the model did not work as a paid gambling product, so we pivoted to a free-to-play white label fan engagement platform. This pivot was a success and we sold the business to Dizplai in 2024.

Now I help other SaaS founders overcome the challenges I faced on my long journey.

One of my first major successes was creating, raising, launching, rescuing and selling a sports fan engagement platform.

Along the way, I’ve learned that being skilled at what you do does not mean you know how to run a business doing what you do. Business is about constant learning and overcoming challenges that you didn’t expect.

It’s working for me now because I have a clear understanding of what businesses need to do to become successful. The “other stuff” is the most important stuff that founders don’t like to think about. They want to focus on their product or their service, but running a successful business that operates and scales without the founder requires systems and processes and diligent hard work.

Looking ahead, I believe that owning a business can be one of the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences in a person’s life. But unless you take control of your business and put in the time and effort to create the systems and processes required, you will never achieve the life you deserve.
