I chose to become a Portfolio Executive because I am looking to expand my services internationally. In my career, I’ve worked in 55 different countries and, with the speed at which the current technology super cycle is advancing, I believe it is more critical now than ever to help organizations migrate their businesses into this new world.
I got started early, catching the entrepreneurial bug at just seven years old when I began repairing toasters and blenders for neighbors who paid me in pocket change and praise. That taste of turning ingenuity into impact never left me. Fast-forward to my twenties, another technology super-cycle was taking off – the personal-computer boom – so I dove in head-first. I built a groundbreaking software solution for heavy-construction firms that optimized earth-moving routes and schedules, saving contractors both time and millions in fuel costs. Those two formative experiences – fixing small appliances on the kitchen table and later streamlining massive job-site operations – set the tone for a career devoted to solving real-world problems through practical innovation.
My first big success came in my twenties, when I transformed a nagging industry headache into a seven-figure opportunity. It started with a haul-path analysis program that cut fuel costs and cycle times for heavy-construction crews. That success led to Civil Image Systems, an earthworks “takeoff” suite that automated the once-tedious earthworks estimates behind every major dirt-moving project. From the construction of the Fresno Dam to extending the runways at John Wayne Airport, contractors trusted our software for its speed, ease of use, and unparalleled accuracy, relying on it to pinpoint volumes, routes, and schedules with a click – turning precision into profitability and marking my first million-dollar milestone.
Over the years, I have learned that sustained success is built on rock-solid systems, disciplined processes, and thoughtful planning. Working everywhere from two-person startups to corporations with tens of thousands of employees has taught me how workplace dynamics shift with scale – and how people’s motivations, communication styles, and needs evolve in each setting. Those experiences shaped my leadership philosophy: inspire with a clear vision, empower with the right tools, and always nurture a culture of growth. Above all, I’ve learned that the right mindset – curious, resilient, and purpose-driven – turns challenges into catalysts and teams into high-performance engines.
My approach works so well today because of the rare blend of expertise I bring to the table – equal parts technical know-how, sales and marketing savvy, and hands-on operational experience across dozens of industries, countries, and U.S. states. Having led both nimble startups and global enterprises, I’ve mastered how to engage and energize teams of any size. That dual perspective – entrepreneurial hustle paired with corporate rigor – equips me to guide organizations confidently through today’s technology super-cycle, turning complexity into clarity and opportunity into measurable growth.
Looking ahead, my deeper aspiration is to guide thousands of organizations -small shops and global enterprises alike – through the seismic technological shift already underway. The pace of change is unprecedented; every process we trust today is about to be reinvented in record time. My goal is to equip leaders with the insight, tools, and confidence they need not just to withstand this upheaval, but to thrive in it – turning disruption into a springboard for lasting growth and positive impact.
