I became a Portfolio Executive because I needed to take my career back under my control. I’ve worked for large multi-national media companies and SMB media start-ups, never once feeling a true sense of security or autonomy in a rapidly changing and disrupted industry.
Charles reached out, and I was immediately convinced he held the keys to leading a successful journey toward “taking back” my career. My initial success came through quality networking – understanding the spaces where potential collaborators and clients emerge. I’ve made fruitful in-roads across both B2B and political sectors of brand and content marketing.
Along the way, I’ve learned to manage my sometimes grandiose ideas and focus pragmatically on the simple, most effective tasks that move me toward contract. I’ve had to believe in myself, my value, and the wisdom I can share from over 27 years of leading and thriving on marketing teams at major media and advertising organizations in New York City.
