Looking back, I realise I’ve been a Portfolio Executive for many years without necessarily calling it that. I’ve always enjoyed working across multiple clients, balancing different projects, challenges, and opportunities at the same time.

I got started almost by accident. Over time, I developed a range of complementary skills that I could deliver in tandem across different clients, including developing training materials, delivering courses, training client trainers, change management communications, and eLearning development. This naturally led to working with multiple organisations at the same time.

My first real success came around 15 years ago when three clients signed up within the same year. I’m proud to say that I’m still working with all of them today, which speaks to the value of long-term relationships and consistently delivering results.

Along the way, I’ve learned the importance of staying flexible, learning every day, and always keeping things professional. Those principles have served me well throughout my career and continue to guide how I work with clients.

It’s working for me now because I genuinely enjoy the variety. Working across different organisations, projects, and sectors keeps the work interesting and allows me to bring fresh perspectives and ideas to each engagement.

Looking ahead, I hope to continue taking on interesting, worthwhile, and valuable roles where I can make a genuine difference and help organisations achieve their goals.
